Arthur L. Valpey (August 5, 1915 – March 12, 2007) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Harvard University from 1948 to 1949 and at the University of Connecticut from 1950 to 1951, compiling a career college football coach record of 12–21. Valpey played college football at the University of Michigan. ==Playing career== A native of Dayton, Ohio, Valpey was an all-state halfback at Dayton's Steele High School.
